Not sure what “vote switching” is? The video clip above comes from a documentary called “Stealing America” and I snagged it from YouTube (here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmiCSnCgqaI ). It demonstrates the vote switching that occurred in the 2004 presidential election. See the end of this post for more info on “Stealing America.”
Yep, Vote Switching is reportedly happening again and while all of the votes have been Democrat-to-Republican switches, it’s important to note that this is an AMERICAN issue–not a Dem or Repub issue.
If you’re a Republican, don’t you want to know for sure that McCain won fair and square? If you don’t want this, you should really take a second look at your morals since a fair democracy should be what everyone wants.
Aaaanyway…
BradBlog.com is reporting (here: http://www.bradblog.com/?p=6559 ) on more instances of vote switching from Texas, Tennessee and Missouri on top of the so-called “isolated” cases in West Virginia.
From the BB post: “This is just getting worse and worse. Now it’s happening in Texas. (And in MO, if you read to the end of the article). And the vaunted “thousands of attorneys” from the Obama campaign and the DNC are still nowhere to be found.
With every incident so far reported of touch-screen vote-flipping during early voting in this year’s general election — from county to county in WV and in Nashville, TN) — it’s been the ESS iVotronic touch-screen machine that has failed, flipping votes from one candidate to another not chosen by the voter. In most every instances [see update below], it’s been an attempted Democratic vote, flipped to a Republican, or another party.”
Yep, it’s the same type/brand of machine that’s messing up–the ESS iVotronic touch-screen machine. The BB post also says something interesting about electronic voting in general: “…no voter should ever cast a vote on a touch-screen machine unless they are forced to. There is absolutely no way that any vote ever cast on a touch-screen machine — with or without a so-called paper trail — can ever be shown as having been recorded accurately.”
Brad is right–you have to have blind faith in technology and if you’ve used a PC or a Mac you know that even the best machines are still fallible. Why we can’t take our time by voting with pencil and paper is beyond me. This isn’t a pizza, we’re ordering–it’s a president.
The same post at BradBlog goes on to explain what to do if you see your vote switch:
* Call poll supervisors to observe the problem
* Fill out a problem report
* Refuse to vote on that machine
* Request that the machine be taken out of service
* Get a serial number of the machine if possible (may be unlikely in many cases)
* Tell other voters not to vote on that machine
* Call county/town election office
* Call local reporters
* Call voter problem hotlines (eg. 866-MYVOTE1 and 866-OUR-VOTE)
* Contact bloggers and Election Integrity websites.
* Raise holy hell.
Brad also mentions that the supposed legions of Democratic lawyers ready to defend Obama voters are nowhere to be found.
So, the Democrats are falling down on the job again.
If you didn’t follow this stuff back in 2004, this is a direct replay of those events–obvious irregularities ignored by almost everyone–including those Dems who would directly benefit from pursuing the truth.
Of course, every American benefits from knowing the truth.
The video clip at the top of this post comes from a documentary covering the irregularities surrounding recent elections. The movie is called “Stealing America” and is now on DVD and can also be watched entirely online at my website here:

Or check it out at the official site: http://stealingamericathemovie.org
Also, when you go to the polls to vote, be smart and bring your camera. If something goes wrong, snap a picture or shoot some video. I’ll be posting more on this soon. Don’t want to wait? Check out http://VideoTheVote.org

to make everyone stop freaking ou ton this video, i onlly paid $1000 for it on ebay, 2500 was the price by gibson when i typed in the serial number on the3 website.
At 3:30 a.m. on May 26, 2008, Memorial Day, the “Roadrunner” supercomputer exceeded a sustained speed of 1 petaflop/s, or 1 million billion calculations per second. The sustained performance makes Roadrunner more than twice as fast as the current number 1 system on the TOP500 list. The best sustained performance to date is 74.5% efficiency, 1.026 petaflop/s.
“Petaflop/s” is computer jargon—peta signifying the number 1 followed by 15 zeros (sometimes called a quadrillion) and flop/s meaning “double-precision floating point operations per second.” Los Alamos held the fastest supercomputer title in 1993 with the Thinking Machines CM-5, and inaugurated the supercomputer era, assisting in the development of the
Cray-1 in 1976. The Laboratory and IBM go all the way back to the first card-programmable calculators, used at Los Alamos in 1949. Los Alamos also housed serial number 1 of the IBM 704 in 1956.
The Roadrunner supercomputer, developed by IBM in partnership with the Laboratory and the National Nuclear Security Administration, uses commercially available hardware, including aspects of commercial game console and graphics technologies. Because of its off-the-shelf components, the computer costs significantly less than a one-of-a-kind machine. It also uses a Linux operating system.
The secret to its record-breaking performance is a unique hybrid design. Each compute node in this cluster consists of two AMD OpteronTM dual-core processors plus four PowerXCell 8iTM processors used as computational accelerators. The accelerators used in Roadrunner are a special IBM-developed variant of the Cell processor used in the Sony PlayStation® 3. The node-attached Cell accelerators are what make Roadrunner different than typical clusters.
The Lab and IBM have been working on Roadrunner since 2006, but collaboration on Cell dates back to 2002. The first phase of the project included delivery of an initial Opteron-only cluster that operates at a speed of 71 teraflop/s. This initial system has been in full production at Los Alamos for almost a year, and Laboratory researchers are using this machine for classified weapons applications.
The full-scale Roadrunner machine operates more than 10 times faster than the current installed system. Phase 2 of the Roadrunner project was completed in October 2007. Two external assessments, one by NNSA headquarters and one by an independent team of high performance computing experts, evaluated the machine’s potential use for Laboratory applications, the Laboratory’s ability to successfully manage the computing system, IBM’s ability to deliver the product, and whether computer programs could be adapted to the new system.
Based on the positive outcome of the assessments, the Laboratory and NNSA decided to pursue the final phase of the Roadrunner project. The powerful cluster of nodes will process information enabling the Laboratory to use Roadrunner for advanced physics and predictive simulations of complex scientific processes. Weapons science applications that can be processed by Roadrunner are applicable to all three of the U.S. Department of Energy weapons laboratories. The machine will also be well equipped to tackle the intricacies of
modeling processes, ranging from the biomolecular to the cosmological. In addition, Los Alamos intends to purchase additional Roadrunner resources to support open science and technology applications. The full-scale Roadrunner system, named in honor of New Mexico’s speedy state bird, broke the performance record at IBM’s Poughkeepsie, New York, facility. The full machine will be moved to Los Alamos beginning in July and housed in the Nicholas Metropolis Center for Modeling and Simulation. The first computing applications are expected to begin running on the machine in January 2009. The cost of all phases of the Roadrunner project is approximately $120 million. More than 200 Laboratory employees have been involved in this effort. For more information about Roadrunner at Los Alamos National Laboratory, see the Roadrunner website at

Hallicrafters PM-23 Speaker is not a re-paint, and is all original paint as determined by microscopic inspection. I suspect green grill color was for a store or trade show display. SX-28 has had the serial plate removed to facilitate an antenna port by some past owner, however, all hardware details indicate this unit to be either a very late 1940 or early 1941 production serial number. The key giveaway is the extremely faded red numerals indicating the amateur bands on the main tuning dial and other hardware indicators based on the engineering change orders at the SX-28 Notes website at http://www.radioblvd.com/SX28Notes.html thanks to Henry Rogers - W7HTR. Please Note the rich audio on the Hallicrafters PM-23 Speaker of Christams 2008 music from WYFR via AM station KEAR (610kc) in San Francisco, California.
All capacitors inside this 1941 SX-28 have been replaced, bad resistors replaced and fully aligned to provide top performance. It receives clearly, RF shortwave stations on all bands, even the highest band at 21-42 mc.
Listen to and enjoy Radio was as it would have been heard back, then over 57 years ago.
